Anyone ever kited Point Moore on SE wind? I'll be driving through Gero on Saturday, and looks like there might be some decent breeze, but slightly offshore. Seems like it could work alright.

Was hoping to hit Coronation, but that looks like a no go for SE...

Anywhere else between Perth and Kalbarri that might be good on SE?

Seppos is ok in se
Point Moore not so
Corro IMHO is best in a se
If your not confident in slight offshore then don't bother
Shark bay has good options in most wind directions if you look around

I'd skip the river at kalbarri especially in a se
Very turbulent , east and west is best
Does work in a sw too but can be a bit lumpy/ holes

Yeah SE are gusty as. Seperation point would be your best bet, if something goes wrong you'll make it back to the beach.

If it's more east then explosives on the north side of point Moore is the go. Have fun!

Thanks to all for the responses! The forecast is looking much worse than when I posted this, but we'll see how we go...

Would be fun I reckon Mick! Only really need a jetski or dinghy as a backup.

And of course someone prepared to give up the kite to drive. That could be harder.
