set up before you launch, come in, land and reset if you have to.

Yep. See those knots above the bar, instead of using a cleat like normal people ... I've had to land and launch his kite three to four times before he got the right damn knot !!!

And yep... no foot pads, just wax and yet he will never try other boards because apparently they will hurt his back and hips ?

Hes a totally unique local character and .. yeh he's a friend if you get down to it.

But he's got weird idiosyncrasies.
