Saw a chopper flying very low off Leighton, around one location today. Saw a bunch of crew kiting out there also, was there a rescue..?
I saw this at Dutchies before it moved on to Leighton.Word is it was Police conducting exercises, picking something out of the water with the chopper, lowering it, picking it up, picking it up off the boat, etc. The boat and the chopper were there for hours and the chopper hung around on its own very close to the water for a long time after.Nothing to do with any kites as far as I know.
Looked like they were doing exercises.....
Some very clever stuff....
