Hi guys,
Thursday at this stage is predicting nice strong westerly winds avg 20-25knt, can anybody recommend any beachs between Sydney and 7 mile that are good for these winds as the tides are nice and low from say 10am-4:30pm rough.
Open to any suggestion

No there aren't any, winter and westerlies is inland buggying. Inside the dunes at Stockton can be doable on a bigfoot, but its still not much fun.
All the beaches on the East Coast tend to be unsuitable to westerly wind. Parks and inland dry lakes are best.
We need to organise some trips out west over winter.

I have had many an epic session at Stockton Beach in a westerly.
It works really well up there, when the tide is out plenty of room to run up and down without getting your kite wet.
Stockton at low tide works in all directions for a play on the sand best directions though are SW-SE even a W-NW you can run up and down the beach also!

How far could you run up and down the beach if you are not into freestyle and jumping, just cruising?
Is the wind very bumpy? Must be a bit?

Fortunately for the Demo Day next month we may very well have those kinds of winds.
Yes you can run up and down the beach its like buggying in a SE wind yet the kite on the water side.
Yes it gets a bit lumpy but not as bad as flying in Sydney during winter.
