Well guys,

After the big disappointment of the very brief session at Riverwood yesterday before the thunderstorm hit, though it was good to finally meet Troy, it looks like there'll be ideal condition all the way up the NSW coast this weekend SE/ESE winds.

I hope you all enjoy it as I have to go to Coff's, and I'm sure I can't trade my clothes for kite and buggy on the plane, knew I should have took the car instead.

Make sure you all get out and take advantage of it and I want some full report's for when I return.

Cheers guys
JD

Hey JD

Spoke with troy yesterday was a non event so I heard.

I am heading up to his place this saturday for the day, hopefully won't be raining.

Don't know of any flyers in Coffs. A few good beaches though.

Cheers
Luke

Hi Luke,

Talk about a no go event, waiting for the wind to increase, then going to Riverwood and no joke had the kite up for no more than 5mins, the lightning started and then the heavens opened.

Feel real sorry for Troy to come all that way for nothing except to put a face to a name, and probably to make it worse it only lasted for about 1/2hr, but then little wind until late in the afternoon so Andrew and I went to Turrella park which is good for SW to E winds.

At least I finely had a chance to fly the 7.5mtr Century I brought of Peter when he switched to Blokart. Even though it was very light winds you could feel the power this kite will generate.

Hope you and Troy have a better day than we just had

cya at MAYDAY
