Thumbs Up

Well zero wind yesterday, managed to get a few jumps in with the new helmet cam, this one was strapped to my front wheel.

I didn't get the desired effect, the cam was most likely pointing a little bit low to the ground although when you go sideways it is quite effective.

Hopefully some more wind next time and angle the camera up a little bit more, I have to say it performed very well and didn't move even with the impact of not enough float sometimes on the landings, so that was a good first test, I am sure the video with 15 knots of wind and a FS2 would be epic. Hopefully will get some video soon.

Will also be making some custom mounts for the back axle so I can throw the camera around the buggy in different positions.

The clip below is what its like being on board throwing the buggy into a sidewinder (included demo of what it looks like 3rd party, then straight into the onboard footage) Play the video through youtube at the smaller viewing setting the original is actually great resolution. Unfortunately youtube kills it a tad.

Cheers!
