Can be when I apply myself and I reckon I have on this one but Im happy your happy JD. I got so much respect for that black kite I dont even want to speak its name out loud. I deffinately miss the manta from a static point of view but thats all. As for the buggy... yeah theyre nice and youll love it but at the end of the day its just another POS production line standard in the minimal choice we generally get in oz when it comes to such things. Beats the **** out of a lynn though. Not sure what I will get next. Still got a good fleet here including the blade and broozas but I havent had a kite in the sky since before xmas.
I turned that buggy/kite sale into a neat little kubota mini digger and 4t mitzi tipper (which I found carried less than my trailer so its since been eliminated for being a POS cost too much to tip from anyway) for the purpose of waste removal and I fairdinkum havent had a leak since yesterday im that flat out.
Got an abn and a registered business name recently that looks the goods on the wall in my funky little home office. Got some cool insurance coverage and have been steadily moving loads of crap from 2-50 cubic metres of you name it.... soil, timber, garage cleanouts, household hard and green waste, aluminium screen doors to second hand astro turf (the truly and I mean truly magnificent new surface they proudly informed me cost over 150k... nice), mega amounts of old puter stuff.. Got a concrete statue of Venus, an original minus the arms too. I took her head off for the sake of symmetry. A 3 foot tall ceramic bengal tiger which I gave to Bob the wheel chair guy, he thought it would look better at the nursing home in his room than at the gate of my driveway.. Can you imagine how cool it is to go to work with some live Pearl Jam and a good quality axe, and furniture?
And Im giving 2 of my mates 20 bucks an hour to mosh and squash with me. Cool huh.
Even cooler- out there in society at an alarming rate the **** piles upward and the amount of fat lazy people skyrockets with it. Pwoar whats that on my fingers? Smells like a kebab. Speaking of kebabs, I have a job on tues to move about 8m3 of crap for this lovely greek lady. I figure, considering what the load consists of, the return I get from selling the aluminium and steel will far outweigh the cost of tipping the small amount of ****, and paying my sidekick scotty for what looks to be about 3 hrs work. And she nearly piddled with relief when I told her it was only going to cost $650 plus any excess she wanted to throw in. What a sweety.
Accounting. What a super fun learning curve, iv been fully WIRED for 3 months now since I had this epifany and it slowly rolls along gaining momentum. Once upon a time I would suddenly power vomit then fall asleep when it came to maths but now I love financial spreadsheets and budget and income forcasts and cashflow watchamacallits. You can be really creative with that ****.... I have a 17 yr old girl who comes over and answers the phone 3 days a week in the morning for a few hours and generally just adds a nice professional touch and a sweet voice as first phone contact when potential customers ring up. We've developed a really cool genuine business greeting and some phone/biz techniques that add a great dynamic to the business as well and she keeps murmuring something about a french brassierie or something, not sure what she means. I almost took some of kitepower steves advice and looked at a neis program. But I figured since I already had an abn and registered then neis wasnt gonna wanna know me, and Jan was 1000% rise in turnover to Dec soooo... neis could blow me and since steve begged and begged me for my phone number then never even rang me, he can blow me too (I knew all along it was just to finalise the personal details on my online kitepower account).. So could the economic development nitwits at the council Im right thanks dude just step back I can fill out any paperwork all by myself.
