Pretty Stoked today,

Had a brief session on the weekend with one of these (thanks ben)!

bought one off ebay earlier in the week it turned up today. Gotta say they are brilliant little cams up to 30fps and 30 minutes of video on a 2gb SD card, records in 640x480, so no full screen but certainly hi res at that size which is perfect for the net or insets into fullscreen vids, heaps of attachments, hopefully get out for a fly tomorrow with this mounted on the front wheel for some boosting video with the FS2

PS, waterproof to 10ft for all those who want to get their feet wet!

Hey Luke,

Great little camera, I'd have a thousand uses for something like that,
could you give me an item no. or more info to refine search on ebay.

Thanks
JD

Hi mate, I will do even better than that, since EBAY is so dodgy, I can give you the actual seller who is a trooper 72 hours from perth delivery, great honest people! Highly recommend.

Since there was no wind today.

I tried to find a decent out of the way place to mount the video, its a couple of degrees off straight (2-3) id say, but its in a secure position out of the way that wont get bumped or moved.

I sat in the buggy and my foot does not hit the cam, certainly for the jumping that I will do with this you will notice the cam is wedged up against the underside of the footpeg so any harder landings will not dislodge the camera and hopefully keep it in position.

Below are some photos of the mount on the buggy, and (sorry guys no action footage yet) but a quick sample video heading down my driveway in lousy light conditions. I think it handled it very well and will now work on some other custom mounts around the buggy. The yellow cloth is actually wettex material for a bit of extra grip inside the mount, it certainly isin't moving.

Main thing is it is secure and should look like a jet fighter taking off from a aircraft carrier deck hope to get some footage tomorrow!

Cheers
V.
