It's been a bad year for all the NSW regulars...

Lots of us have stuff happening in our lives at the moment that is keeping us away from the snow.

Winter can be hit or miss on the main range anyway, expect there to be a few more bods out and about in Spring.

Map here:

I'll be around in a couple of weeks

gday Patric thanks for the fast reply and the map.Ive been to most of the places on the map but there are a few on there i have always thought might be good but never been.I might even go to them this weekend (weather permiting) I know what you mean about it being hit and miss at this time of the year, its been fairly bad viability most weekends until last weekend.I had the kite in the air for 14-15 hours over fri/sat/sun,sunny days and winds 20-40 km/h for most of the 3 days. What a weekend!!! Send me a message before you are comming down here, it would be good to go out there with some other kiters

Cheers

Marty

Lots of bods kiting on the Main range this weekend just gone. (Not me - I had to look after sick family - bleh)
Lach and Goldie should have been out and about at least - wind looked good.

Unless I get the same bug as my fam I will be down next Sat-Tue weather permitting.

Sweet!
I will be aiming to be there at the same time.
Its my first time at thedbo snowkiting, would be good to get a better guide on where to go.
Do you set up at the top of the lift or walk over?

sounded like a massive day - next time you get stuck walk up to the australian ski club , they'll always put you up for the night when you're stuck like that-
and the guy at the guthega terminal has never had a good word to say in the 20 years i've known him - been off him for a long while now

Marty, anyone,

I'll likely be on the Main range this weekend, earning some turns if the wind is too light, kiting if it's on.
Staying out there.

Let me know if you are keen for a hookup, I can show you all the good spots.

Cheers,

Pat
