Hi guys,

Thought I would share my happy snaps of my pod build. The basic design was inspired by canoe building and sort of developed. I used 50mm ply strips and stiched with cable ties. Easy, but I don't think I would repeat it. I would swap for a wire strip so there is less air bubbles. The front nose cone I moulded from poly urethane and moulded to shape with saw and then sander I did the 2 halves seperately and definately if had my time over would make it in one piece. I have decided to leave painting at this stage purely until I decide on colour etc. I kind of dont mind the raw look at this point.
