I just acquired 12 feet of aluminum scaffold tubing. measuring with a caliper it is roughly 50mm ID and 60.325ish mm OD and about 4.3mm wall thickness. The pipe was free. So is this size tubing worth trying to use on a yacht build or should I just trade it for something about 50mm OD.

Looks good and very light. I didnt think i was going to find the steel pipe right away to house the aluminum for the axles but I did today. So I might use it for the rear axles and look for 2 inch for the front. Keep my eyes peeled
