I got a chance to try the new 5.5 yesterday in very cold light air. It worked great!

John;
I am currently using sirocco sprint and twin yachts with the aerotech windsurfing sails and have been thinking about
rigging a sailworks sail for better performance, also dealing with a lot of balast (me) 210 currently. Been using a 5.2 m
in lite air and 4.2 in windy conditions. Wal-Mart bags 25 mph and above. I use a 6.4m on my twin. I was thinking of
getting a 4.8 from sailworks and go from there, your thoughts on that idea? I only live about 150 miles from sailworks
factory in hood river.

Thanks Windnut

Windnut, I have a 4.o and the 5.5 for a mini. I'm guessing your boat is a bit bigger. The 4.8 sounds about right if it is.

Sure makes me wish I lived on a frozen lake....But where do you sail after the thaw?
