I really like the companion way doors on this boat this is what I have been dreaming up. Sick of putting hatch boards in every night when it's cold! I think my Adams is possibly this hull but with 2 foot added to the Stern.

Personally I think about cutting through the cockpit access to the interior so it's walk through rather than step up step down. And cutting out the transom making a walk through transom ..... But where to put the washing machine? Maybe I should just sell!

I have just gotten back into the sailing game with the purchase of a Beneteau. It has the usual storm boards, but also the perspex swinging doors you have pictures of. I think it will make entry/exit easier whilst maintaining a degree of privacy, but I wouldn't be leaving the boat with just these doors alone. But that's just me.

Add a pilot house and a stern walk through and keep the washing machine
The money you will save on canvas and resewing when your up north could then be spent on more beer to wash down the squid

Oh I will keep the storm boards just store them away. Ho2 the squid I catch are up to 1 kg you don't get squid like that up north I would just drink more beer!

Then I think it would be an easy project and take a few hours at the most. I don't know what perspex is worth, but I would think it would not be too expensive. But have been wrong before

southace, I am originally a Queenslander and use to drink nothing but XXXX.. I had one again on the weekend just gone. The first in maybe 15 years or so. I am ashamed to have ever actually liked it
