woke up the other morning to see a power boat sunk just across from me , Seen the water ways guy Turn up and could see him on the phone I guessed calling the owner.
Boat was salvaged and brought up to the wharf, where it has sat for a couple of days.
As I walked past I had a look and could see it had a leg and it was full of growth.
Obviously hadn't been maintained and was the reason it sunk.
Today I came across the owner a young lady with no idea about boats only recently bought the boat had it put on the mooring and then the phone call from waterways.
She has no money , I hate to think what the bill for the salvage will be , motor, leg, and electrics stuffed and the big one, a boat with a hole in it tied to the wharf and the soon to come law of move the boat and a mooring with no boat on it .
She doesn't own a property and you can't get blood from a stone what hell does she do?
Maybe if they made it law you needed to be insured and it was as easy as doing As the car This problem would never come up what a nightmare , not the first time I have seen it another lady had bought a house boat and it sunk was trying to get it to float with the local property owners getting very irate at losing their view one even telling her he hadn't paid a million dollars for his house to have to look at her piece of **** .
A lot more research needed by a lot more people before buying a boat.
Heres one, novice couple went to look at a 26ft'er, ended up buying a 70ft'er
