5 to 7 days!
What at do you need a diesel heater perhaps?
Anyway I'm very happy with the German engineering tomorrow I will complete the other side and then pull it all apart ready for stain and gloss finish.
I'm not that worried about translation.....find it funny the Germans refuse to translate when dealing in English.

I could send you some Tassy veneer I have . Houn pines gone but theres other nice veneers in the pile. Tiger eye for one lots of others I could get Ill check it out at the weekend and take some photos for you if you want
Sorry to intervene here between HG and yourself Southace, but the nasty paint strippers may bleach the timber somewhat.
Assuming it is veneered plywood or MDF there may be a better product out there-Hate the word 'Organic', but I can ask a contact on what he uses.
Would not like to see you getting stoned on caustic after a night out on the 'Pith'.
On reading German, can't do that. On speaking German 'Zwei Pils' work for us. That's 2 beers thanks!
Thanks cool runnings I assume it's solid timber. I have used paint stripper many times never had a problem ....more problems sanding. Not so worried about the timber as im going to stain it cherry red! And I don't mind getting high. Regards

Great bar but that TV is just way to small for my eye sight!
I can read and speak German, but Google translate does a reasonably good job too as does reverso.net.
Hi Southace. We did the same job on our Santana. Sanded it back then finished with a very fine steel wool. Applied seven coats of Goldspar satin.....perfect.
Staining is not a problem ...just don't mix it in with the varnish. Oh, and you must get all the old varnish off.
Go knock yourself out Southace!
Been there and still doing that.
I stripped one side and didn't get high. ! Bloody Bunnings water ther stuff down I think!
Something like this I think! Sheesh now that stuff is making me high! Should be able to complete the whole table tonight!
Good work Southace!
Colour change is a nice lift as well.
I am to place an order with Bunnings tomorrow-Can make a formal complaint on your behalf to ask for some more toxicity please.
