Hi all,

I remember way back someone on here had a Currawong 30. I have one with a Volvo MD7A diesel and need a new prop - trying to find a used one to keep the budget down. Hoping to get any information about the correct prop size - not feasible to measure mine at the moment. Any information from current or previous owners appreciated!

thnx

I have a 7b in mine but it will be almost the same. Folding prop on at the moment and my spare is a fixed 3 blader 36cm across. Pitch stamping is not visible. This is my measurement certificate and you may be able to decipher it!

I've got a two bladed folding on mine and it works super duper good with a 21hp Nanni. Let me know if you need more details on dimensions of the prop and so on

Here's a shot of my 2 blade that is driven by a yanmar 2GM20.

Dont have any more details, works well except I get heaps of prop walk.

And that...is why this is the best place to be. Great constructive replies in under 12 hours. Thanks everyone!

Now to try to take the (remnants of the) old prop off underwater and replace. What could possibly go wrong?

OK, I couldn't resist. All measurements are in metres, which makes your prop diameter 14" on a one inch shaft.

Thanks!
