Hey HGO2, just wondering about the marina the boats in.

From all of your posts, we know you're pretty active with the boat repairs and for some time now.
We've seen you get on with everything from windows, repainting, the interior woodwork etc.

How do you go with the marina, in terms of noise, dust, paint fumes etc, with the apartments nearby judging from some of the photo's?

Just good luck?

Hi Spiggie, I'm moored at Camerons Bight and doing regular day sails around local waters. It would be good to have you on board for a few trips.
PM sent

No worries Crusty my neighbors are excellent and I usually do noisy stuff when no ones around during the week and I roll and tipped my deck paints dry in two hours or less and I always sand after work also when no ones around and vacuum immediately up after.
But I would not like to be doing port lights again this winter every thing on the exterior is pretty much done just the interior to finish off.

Probably sail her around to western port winter 2016 and finish her off. Hull paint and epoxy the hull below the water line
After that Ill buy couple of slabs and get pissed

I did contemplate spray painting the deck and motor out on to the bay and spray her there but that would have been a bit naughty of me I think so I went with roll and tip

Hemple South Ace great stuff I use there two pack . There two pack primer is really thick and will take a bit of getting used to bleow is sample on the hatch cover .
When you look at the non skid in the photo below you can see that in a couple of spots it filled the non skid

if you look closely you can see a couple of spots been filled in with the primer
Just off to the right near the center of the non skid panel
Most of my deck I sanded back and just rolled on the Finish coat and never used the primer . I will be giving the deck another coat after a light sand and nearly straight after a light sand and cut and polish . the cockpit cabin sides Ive sanded back and cut and polished they look really good and you cant see the brush strokes
Hempel Polybest excellent paint . I will roll and tip my hull sides next year with it but Ill use the primer first when I do that
