Its a prick being old for me but you L.C. probably to many nice reds
Many years ago I drove in the the city car park. Parked my car in a under ground parking business . I forgot to look what street and where I was as I was walking away 5 hours later I found it

The yacht was at the wooden boat festival a few weeks ago and it was a nice looking thing with what I thought was a practical layout with a centre cockpit with a aft cabin Opening onto the rear deck area

Furling headsail and main would make it easy to handle short handed

If you missed it it may be on again on the weekend as I think last weeks episode was shown twice later on

It's been interesting so far. A bit too much eating and not enough sailing for my liking but good nonetheless. Hopefully they'll get some decent breeze soon. The diving is a bonus too; they must have a dive boat following them around. "Looxury", as they say in Yorkshire.

Watching the final now. I have established I know Nick and have had some big nights drinking black samboka in the past in Sydney harbour. I don't realy like the boat although it looks like they have spent a fortune on her! The only problem with centre cockpits is it can be cramped with 3 big blokes I'm glad most of my mates are Not that tall .

Tassie is a great place but extreme caUnion needs to be taken!

Hell Flinders and Bass was possibly Gay well that's a shock!

Bathast habour was my fav and my Canadain mate did get some ABbs from a gay couple on the beach... He said they where up to some funny business when he stumbled across them!

Watched the final episode tonight and it was good to see them on the Huon (best part of Tassie)

Not a lot about sailing in the series but quite enjoyable to watch

From the comments they made it sounds like a lot of the trip was either motoring or motor sailing but it would have been a great trip to do

Regards Don

The Olive May is based at Port Huon and when I saw her I thought they may have come up here to film but everything I saw was around Cygnet

regards Don

l live in Orford, 6-7 mins from Triabunna, which is where my boat lives, either on a mooring or a marina berth....or on a dock trailer... so l see Maria every time l go for a squiz,
l don't work on Maria but do spend time fishing around it, like on tomorrows fishing comp... l know, l know, wrong forum ,
the view across to Maria from Raspin's beach, Spring beach or Rheban beach is just superb,
l spent three hours on Tuesday on Rheban beach just relaxing...and doing my fair share of community work...looking for white pointers
