We have an offer in on the Hallberg Rassy 38 in Port Stephens

Any info on this model will be appreciated (and I know there are not many about) but I have read most of what there is on the net so first hand knowledge of sailing/ownership if possible.

Also any advice on a Surveyor and haul out place?
Any info really, good, bad or ugly...?

Any place decent and reasonably priced to stay for a few nights from Sat also?

If all goes ahead I will be looking to bring her back to Mooloolaba in early April and would be looking for someone experienced to crew with me also.

Post on here or pm me if you prefer.

Fingers crossed...

Cheers

Lovely boat! Had one here for a couple of years, couple went off cruising. Looked the same but I think they are all identical. That interior is simply stunning!

Good luck with your purchase! Plenty of options for accommodation on www.airbnb.com.au in Nelson Bay and other places around Port Stephens. Especially right now which is in between school holidays.

You said the same thing when I posted this photo on the GP Facebook page in November 2015! She was here for a few months only. Same windvane on this one.

That Rassy you are buying is a top choice for a cruiser!
Wonder, why it was not advertised on gumtree ??

Very solid blue water cruiser. I like them, but I may be biased as my wife is Swedish ;)
It may be a little hot and stuffy in the tropics though, being designed in the colder climes of Sweden. Then again I have'nt seen the boat so I can't say. That would not put me off anyway, I love a solid boat.

just in case I win the lotto;
