I've been trying to think of a way we can pay tribute to Eero (Columbo 7) for his efforts in trying to make the Seabreeze catch up weekend.
The best I could come up with is asking the Seabreeze community to make an effort to get out on the water over the next month and have Sundowner for Eero.
If you could post a photo of the sunset while having a Sundowner for Eero that would be great. The family may take some comfort from the show of support and viewing our sunset photos.
I'll start it with the photo of the sunset Eero would have seen if he had join us for Sundowners on Moreton Island.
RIP Eero.
Christmas day at Burnett Heads before a cracker day of sailing on Boxing Day, this is what it's all about!
On Saturday 2nd May 2015 I actually had Sundowners with Eero at Garry's Anchorage on "Free Spirit" [the catamaran just to Port of "Seaka's" fore stay in the photo]
As I remember he was a quite person. His yacht is somewhere in the collection of yachts ahead of "Free Spirit". I unfortunately did not catch up with him again.
This was the weekend of the 2015 Tin Can Bay to Urunga Yacht race with LOTS of yachts anchored overnight.
Vale Eero.
Flying into Perth. Nothing beats a WA sunset, in the sky or on your boat! (Though on your boat is probably better so you can enjoy one of WA's best wines). RIP Eero, from the last place the sun sets in Aus!
My favourite sunset from May this year.
That's a really nice photo Riff..
Not sailing related, but my favourite sunset photos are these three of my eldest son (6 at the time) and I fishing....
RIP Eero and Hedi and Mindy
Dinner and a glass raised at Doyles over looking
