I bought a quarter share in this boat today
Berthed at the CYCA
Great partners
Shared costs
Use is one day a week plus a long weekend every four weeks
Ideal for twilights and harbour cruising
Surprised wife and she's happy!
Hi Bundeenabuoy
Congradulations on the new boat and I am sure you will have some good times on her
I have spent a fair bit of time sailing on Jeff's 349 down here and they are a nice boat that go well particularly when it blows
Is she fitted with a bow thruster
Regards Don
Well done, she looks nice and clean. And should be relatively maintenance free, so good on the pocket. Do you intend sailing with the other members of the syndicate?
cheers Richard
No but I am learning quickly.
The high freeboard and the very tight berth is an issue, but I have been in and out a number of times without catastrophe although berthing does take you out of your comfort zone.
Nice one! I'm in a private syndicate of 4 also. So good when the bills come in and you only pay 1/4.
She looks great Bundeenaboy, congratulations! I can imagine a few sundowners sitting in that cockpit .
Thanks for all the good wishes.
I joined two of the other owners for the monthly Double Bay race on Sunday.
All went well. Just lovely to be on a boat where everything works.
Its a bit over two years old but still has that new boat smell. Its cleaned and polished once a month.
Its general used for twilights and drinks.
Welcome to another SO349 owner. An excellent choice.
Don't forget to check out the owners forum for lots of info and advice.

Looks like there might be two or even three 349s in a row in that picture!
We had eight racing in the Bedlam Point Cup out of MHYC last month.
The next date to mark in your calendar is the Jeanneau Rendezvous on Pittwater on March 30.
