Bloody hell mate!! Such an interesting video with 223 views and in four days I am the only one to respond.

I guess most of us are stuck in 1980s technology as far as sailing goes and don't like things that upset our apple cart or move our cheese.

Speaking of cheese, you are going to have to move yours soon.

That traction kite looks good. Hopefully there is some control setup that looks after it once it's operating. Note the complete absence of generating power from hydrodynamic means!

I'm pretty sure that's the old Enza cat refitted.
That's a cat with 9 lives.

Good luck to them.
Great to see such forward thinking.
I also note that they're not intending to go into the southern ocean.

Thanks for the reply Cisco, I thought it was of interest and thought it might stimulate some conversation. I don't think any of us would want to do without the ultimate free energy of wind in the sails but the hydrogen technology is very interesting. I imagine that it is a lot safer than the Hindenburg was FreeRadical?.
Was thinking of taking your spot at the slipway Cisco but the next episode in fighting off blindness is going to cost me $8k. Should be able move to the new location now that your upstream neighbour has moved his blocks to the right place.
