Nice pics !

Interesting all the boats are about the same age going by the sail numbers.

Has there been some design leap that makes older boats less competitive?

They are and have always been great looking boats, are they still mostly home made? Approx how much?

Can older guys/girls sail them or are they too full on?

Cheers!

Thanks Shoodbegood...

You can find more information on the International 14 class at these two sites....

http://websites.sportstg.com/assoc_page.cgi?c=1-10786-0-0-0&sID=383872

www.international14wa.com/

<div>

<div>The International Fourteen is one of the world's premier sailing classes.
It is a two-person, two trapeze skiff, with an unlimited area asymmetric spinnaker and 200 square feet of combined mainsail and headsail area.
Carbon hulls and carbon rigs, now generally with square-head mainsails, give exceptional performance.
The International Fourteen is for sailors looking for a fast, challenging boat in which they can develop their own ideas while sailing in the company of a group of like-minded, open and welcoming competitors.

Anyone else take 14 foot skiff photos when they were in Perth?

These are some of my favourite photos from the weeks racing...

Cheers
