Starlight Express is a gift. I could even put up with the running backstays for that sort of money.

It is unbelievable. I have shown the yacht to a number of people and they either can't make up their mind or they want to gin around bargaining the price down further and even then they cant commit.

Where are the true sailors who know their stuff??

The guy today wants to take it down to the Hawksberry and use it as a live aboard while he is working in Sydney. He doesn't want a yacht. He wants a floating apartment.

Is there a true blue water sailor out there who wants a ripper of a yacht at a bargain price??

S&S 36 IOR designed yacht for $40,000. Price non negotiable.

Anybody want to go halves in it with me??

I have mentioned this to my wife a few times now. She is not weakening yet.

Well thanks everyone for all the help and advice, I thought I should update and I am very happy to report I am now the proud owner of a beautiful Van de Stadt 34. Have spent the last few days on the water and couldn't be happier with her. I'm sure I'll be back for plenty more advice as the real fun begins from here. Cheers!
