Looks like Scallywag has given up the search and is heading to Chile

It's just tragic, best wishes to the family, friends and to the team. David Witt must be beside himself. Poor bastards, what a horrible day at the office.

Sad news

From what I have read tonight the conditions appear to have been pretty bad and it must have been a difficult decision for the crew to abandon the search

My condolences to John Fishers family and friends

Regards Don

When one of the crew went overboard in an earlier leg of the race the skipper spoke then of the consequences of a man overboard at night
