Many years ago I crewed on a Swanson dart on Lake Macquarrie, NSW. A great little boat that went very well. Congrats mate. You have some good sailing ahead of you.

Thanks. A minuscule project compared to some restos I've seen here and on youtube. It certainly has given me a healthy respect for some of the work you guys have put into your boats. Especially those old timber English boats .I saw one posted that was absolutely mind boggling. I chose a colour that would not be subject to fade too much over the years.Red, navy blue and dark green where my initial thoughts to show off her lines but I new they would be high maintenance. The Darts are a 70's boat so I chose a colour that reflects that era. It was a toss up with the colour I chose and "Fighting lady yellow" which is such a beautiful colour. All up costs including the purchase of the boat and motor was about $7,500.00
I still haven't been given a mooring allocation so she is anchored( with a tractor weight as an anchor) at Minyama in Mooloolaba.
