Fourth overall in worlds best islands, first Australia, NZ , and South Pacific. Having sailed to 3 of top 10 in world and all of top 5 in AUs,NZ ,&S Pacific I would disagree. I believe that the Islands of Bass Strait (included in tasmania) are the top sailboat cruising destination islands.

Love those 'flame effect' radiators.

Hi Sam

Wish it was then I wouldn't need to cart this stuff in on cold nights to keep it fed

Regards Don

<div>Generally in terms of geography, a sea is part of the ocean partially enclosed by land

<div> The South Pacific Ocean is defined as:

<div>
On the West. From Southeast Cape, the Southern point of Tasmania, down the meridian of 146°55'E to the Antarctic continent. (according to the International Hydrographic Organization 3rd edition, currently in force.)

If you look at a map of Tasmania, and only older blokes would know what I'm talking about because modern day landing strips have more to do with the country of Brazil, you will find that Tasmania is an inter ocean island as it divides the Southern Ocean to the West from the Pacific Ocean (Tasman Sea) to the East with Bass Strait stuck in the middle to the North.
Anyway back to maps of Tasmania.

Hi Sam

I wish it was and then I would sell it instead of burning it

I think that there is any Huon pine down here but occasionally in a flood the odd log will still wash down from the upper reaches of the river

Bought a second hand small oil heat for $20 that will keep my old boat warm this winter

If it is oil burning make sure you have plenty of ventilation. Designing a flue in a plastic boat is quite tricky.

No its the oil bar heater I used the one here at home that never gets used but my partner didn't like that so I bought a slightly smaller version.
Its like being in Townsville in the winter once it warms up so Ill be wearing a singlet inside the boat today sorry Donk

Last time I used one to help set off some epoxy when it was a little cold

some thing like this one its been tested and tagged
