Great photo of the boats all with wind vanes.

I had a great day on the boat today.
Sailed for a couple hours and then started working.
I manage to find the Autohelm that came with the boat.
Easy to set up and working on the mooring.
Then I started to put the wine vane together with the help of a friend.
We think it looks fine maybe try it out tomorrow.

Picked up this Aries off gumtree for $400
Made a couple of new bushes for it and made a new control linkage as it was missing.

I could just sit and stare at things like this for hours trying to work out how they come up with the design.
That looks like the best $400 you could hope to spend on a boat!

It's a mark 5 Aries. Works the same as the others with the same ratios and dimensions but this one actually pivots to get the whole unit out of the water.
