Magic place, but there are things to wach for.
Entered an hour before hight tide, dropped the anchor in middle of the very narrow channel .
Just over 6 meters water, 20m rope + 8 m chain, to help reset an anchor when current changes,
extra 5 kg load on anchor rope.
Late arvo, flood to ebb tide, anchor resets ok, it's 10 pm, current is incredible must be 6 knots, wind picking up.
After midnight, sitting solid, one foot water around.
Lucky, my draft is 2 feet without centreboard, tilt was just 10 degree.
Wind overcome the current, pushed me to the sand bank.
Anchor holds, channel is too nerrow........lesson is....don't know...?....?...suggestions please...

I entered through the blue entrance and left through the red. In and Out about an hour before high tide.
Both entrances just over 2 meters.
A few boats were coming using the red channel only.
Video is still pretty high tide, on low ....all is dry...
/ I have blue channel waypoints, have to find them//
on low, you completly enclose, as fars as you can see

Six knots of tidal current is fairly incredible. It does not look like there is that much of a body of water to cause that. The tides have been pretty big lately though.

Thanks for the post, pics and vid.
