I've been scribbling and typing away making myself giggle the past few weeks after a front cabin cleaning frenzy went further than I intended.
I actually wrote this during the UK summer, but only just got around to finishing it.

for all those of you who are currently getting your boats ready for the season, or fancy getting fitter, then this is for you.

the front cabin can be a bit of a squeeze.

MM which way is up on that
I thinks that's better
I can recall Donk saying about how he got stuck with his arms inside and half his body in the back locker and there was no way he could get out until his good wife assisted
Ive been down behind the Mizzen bulk head with that thought maybe I wont be able to get out

That looks like your foot in the pic boty, I suppose if she couldn't quite reach you'd stand on
her backside and push her down a bit ?!.

the bizarre thing was she volunteered to do it which was good as none of the apprentices were that small

I am familiar with the small hands request. A guy comes knocking for a chat from another boat. After a while you notice him looking you up and down. Then the question...
Yeah, in just doing x and y. But er, do you think I could borrow you? Your hands look quite a bit smaller than my shovels.

One time I had to strip down to vest and short shorts to be able to slip and slide into a tiny space to change batteries on a sporty/racing catamaran.

I was rewarded with fabulous meal. Sadly gave me the ****s, but at least I was physically lighter for the next leg of the race.

Funny read , thanks Missfit. I thinks it funny because it's so true ! I do think your scoring for mast climbing was a bit light on though !

I think an extra catorgory for over 55 yo achieving a single line climb and decent should get 100 chucks and a goddamm gold medal !!

Keep up the good words !

Stupid from Albatros removed, manufactured and fitted four new engine mountings for me after mine gave up the ghost in unison when the Calliope came down in flood.

He had to access the rear two through a door which literally makes me quite ill just contemplating going through and Stupid is at least 30kgs heavier than me. How the hell he did it is beyond me.

I've since had to access the same area three times and can only do it by dismantling the whole engine cabinet. It's a real weakness I have, claustrophobia. I admire people who can get into tight spots and work!

When I worked at the shipyard in Whyalla a small team of us often had to go down into
the double bottoms. ANY claustrophobia would be apparent immediately.
