For IPad mates, I find this App. Any comments ? ,
I didn't try it yet. http://rallyto.com/maps-n-trax/
before I get Navionix, I did some testing build in GPS using maps
currently sitting in my iPad.
Navionix Base Map
HEMA Offroad
TomTom
So the GPS position on the Navionics base map puts you on the island, just.
The GPS position on the offroad and tom tom maps have you just off the beach.
If you had the full Navionics maps on your device I am sure it would place you just off the beach.
The HD version of Navionics ($69.99) I have found to be no better than the standard $17.99 version.
For the cost of 4 beers why are you hesitating on putting it on your device??????
GPS on iPad works well, can see it using TomTom.
iPad does not have standart Nav. available.....just HD.

Sorry you are right. Friend had same problem with iPad.
I put HD version on my tablet and then standard version and found no difference in resolution. I then asked for refund via the interface on the $70 version.
I guess your choice is to buy $70 version or buy an Android tablet cheap and dedicate it to Navionics.
My Lenovo A8 50 is good quality, quad core with GPS chip. It cost $234 at J B hi fi with extended 3 year warranty. Big W and Target have cheaper brands for around $100 but probably not worth mucking around with.
Question!! How do you get a screen shot and then post to forum??

Hit the Print Screen button "PrtScn" then open image editing program and paste your screen dump, resize and edit picture to suit your needs, save it and give it a name. Done!
