I've heard Scott Keogh (SK Yacht Rigging) is excellent, however, nigh on impossible to get as he's so busy.

A neighbour just used Colin Quin and is happy with the work. Once again, very busy but my neighbour did finally get the work done.

Hope this helps.

It seems boat services are the trades to be in at the moment. I'm looking forward to having my davits installed in... 4 months!!!
I gave up on the canvas work and bought an industrial machine instead

I found the elusive Scott Keogh. Fitting a new double hounds sheath block to my mast today. He might be hard to get, but you get a quality job. Example, the standard Selden sheath block comes with an alloy shaft and ****ty plastic sheaths. Scott has modified the new block with a stainless pin and had custom made solid fibre blocks made. Most riggers would just fit the standard Selden block and have it fail as happened with my original block where the sheath crushed under the load of the jib halyard

Where's Scott?

Found him.

New double block with custom stainless pin and sheaths.

On a yacht that size, why do you need to hire a rigger except for the making of the new stay??

I had my rig remade by All Yacht Spars at Hemmant. Service, price and the right advice is what you look for from any business and they delivered on all three points.
