hes now in mallorca.
his mate has balied
its about 34 foot.
set up for ocean
he is now alone.
and needs to leave europe
his background is:

he is a ex pro rugby player lived in Nice France for about 10years.
he was kinda relying on his french mate to man the helm for a bit.
His French mate has no cash and decided he should work on the french ski fields.
they had and still have bad weather there.
Left my Mate Alone.
My Mate is very capabale.
learned to paraglide recently and is totally fearless. Has become a good sailor, but is slightly apprenshive to do the trip on his own.

ANY ADVICE?
i was always planning on doing a leg but not this soon. im in the middle of stuff ATM but i could be there...its an exciting thought

PS he is not a internet friend btw. ive known him for 20 years.

pretty open to constructive ideas.

Your mate needs a lovely Swedish backpacker who can sail. Get him to join and post on here: http://www.ifboat.com/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=3&sid=e773f64e62eec5e68dc1c7891ec9f3b5
That is the Swedish International Folkboat English forum, and many a young Swedish girl goes sailing with the folks in their summer in their idyllic archipelago, so you might strike it lucky.

It is not a busy forum, but if a kind person copies the request to the Swedish part, there are much more site vistors.

Swedish girls look hot but are mostly totally frigid like their home climate. Most of them are totally preoccupied with writing in their diary/note books every detail of their daily activities.

I have seen a post card written by a Swedish shiela (oops, sorry, female) on which the writing was 3/16" high, the line of writing was perfectly straight and was so full of that type of script that it would take any one of us here two A4 pages to write.

I reckon if you can find one that goes off, she would go off big time, but you would probably have to do it in a cold room.

Maybe southace could enlighten us on the sexual proclivities of Swedish girls????????

Swiss girls are a totally different ball game. I am still married to one that became an Australian 30 years ago.

As far as sectorsteve's mate getting his yacht to Australia goes, I wish him the best of luck. He will need it.

I am not confirming that as that has not been my experience. I think Swiss people in general have very high moral standards and tend to be conservative in their thinking.
