I don't get jealous!

There is always going be someone bigger, richer, taller, healthier ....etc

The way I look at it is there's always going to be someone worse of as well......just be happy with what you do have and make the most of it.

It is a nice world cruiser but out of my budget for the time being !

P.s i Have a pet hate for dishwashers.

Drone...u can see it on the berth towards the aft cabin also can see the guys in the tender at the start of the clip. I wonder if they put floats on it and if you can have camrea controls....anyway lucky for me that's up to my mate to work out cause he's the one buying it for my new boat when I finally get it!

Yeah close to 500k I would think.....living of there utube hits....apparently you get paid per hit. Couldn't live that life working a 9 to 5!

If you go and read their blog www.svdelos.com you will see that they all have to pay and that sometimes means leaving the boat and getting a paying job in order to continue to live"the good life".

The drone is a DJI Phantom Vision two which comes with a full HD camera on a gimbal mount able to be controlled by POV software on a mobile phone or tablet.

Amel Super Maramu yachts the same as Delos are currently at about $350,000 and are usually fully fitted with all mod cons as they only appeal to cruising folk, being designed for comfort and not speed.

As Brian (the skipper) says, you must have a burning desire to not fail and mustn't let anything get in your way to achieve your dreams, none of this has come easy or cheaply.

Only the brother and his girlfriend go and work. Brian and Karin left for a year but that was mostly so karin could finish uni. I think Brian is a software developer isn't he? I know a young guy with a boat like that. He was gifted 500k and he bought it, but he didn't last with it only having it for a few years and didn't really use it much. Think he couldn't afford it!

Yes, Brian has the luxury of being able to do his job anywhere in the world where he can get a data connection.

You obviously have been following them as well, I think it's a great read, pity though they never talk about when things go a bit pear shaped.

I swapped some emails with him. Things have gone pear shaped a few times. They had a 180 degree knockdown approaching bundaberg. This was just before they put her on the hard for 1 year...

Ive been working on an internet business for 5 years now. ive just started to be able to work from anywhere. had 2 months in europe recently working from montenegro, spain, etc...bloody awesome. its taken some time, but ill be right behind Delos pretty soon...

I've watched up to Darwin and like the vids but it also annoys me that they don't show the hard stuff - it's all beer and bikinis. A 180 knock down and you don't talk about that??! That's why I like Drake Paragon where he worries openly about stuff and Mo is constantly sea sick and the storms and that time he got smashed rescuing that disabled boat. Good stuff.
