I demoed a Fanatic 8ft 7" x 120l Stubby do it all board and it was pretty good.
However for normal SUP surfing I like a bit less rocker which would also help me when foiling to catch fuller waves.
Any suggestions for a do it all board?

maybe something like these? 7'8 x 28 x 108L or 8'3 x 30 x 134L. As surfing sups these are amazing so having the foil option now is just a bonus!!
Fully PVC wrapped and full carbon so super light and as strong as boards get!
Or DW foil sups but these dont surf so good as you can imagine but foil unreal!!

My standard surf Sup was a 8'6" 120Lt Stubby, but when I learnt foiling I got the Naish 7'6" 120lt hover. Once you get the hang of foiling you will appreciate the shorter length. I have surfed it (once) and it's super fun, even if I did struggle with the yaw and balance a bit, compared to having the foil attached.

Hi
How do you find the Naish 120l ability for catching fuller waves?

In my mind I would like a foil SUP do it all board :
About 8ft 6in +or - an inch or 2
30in wide x 115 to 120l ish vol
Low rocker & and Stubby type shape ie parallel rails, wide nose and tail
Quad fins plus lightish weight.
Track mount.
And maybe suitable for windsurf foiling as well.
But so far nothing available that I am aware.
Anyone know of such a board?

Plenty... just get the SUP you like and have a Tuttle box and a mast rail installed :-)

Joke aside, did you have a look at the Naish Crossover, it seems to fulfill all your needs...

More seriously, installing a mast plug or rail is very easy compared to a tuttlebox for a foil. So getting a SUP+Foil board of your liking (there are plenty) + adding a mast insert or rail would be the best solution I guess.

Why so long? we have definitely found shorter for foiling is so much better!

Even I feel if someone needed more volume on our 8'3 we would not add any length and more just add volume and width.

We turned our fish boards into the crossovers for us just because of how good they surf for there sizes and also the fact that all of us who surf them never surf our old more traditional shape sups plus these are a stable outline for a short Sup.

Going to long on a foil boards to be honest sucks!!

My advice is if you can go under 8ft then do it!!

Hi

It's a (relatively) short SUP, you have to paddle it accordingly. But once you get the hang of foiling paddle speed is way less important. At my level, as long as there is a slight peak or breaking section of the wave is catchable, and once foiling you want a fat wave. Wing size and ability to turn is far more important for keeping up on the foil. As my usual foil spot has a big gutter, I have just got a Naish xl wing for smaller days and to pump through fat sections.

I have seen some guys pump and paddle into the wave super early, but I am still working on that.

I only plan to surf the 7'6" hover if I can't foil safely, so punchy shallow beachies or reef waves. If it's a full, small wave it's #loyaltothefoil .

You will find 8'6" long for foiling, and if you are interested in wind foiling I would look at a cross-over like this Naish model:

Learning to paddle a smaller board is far easier than learning to foil on a big board.
Catching waves is all about using the foil lift, forget what you think you know about board design.
I'm riding a 6'10 at 90kg and with a big foil it catches waves a 10footer won't.
Buy a cheap 2nd hand converted board and just get out there ?

Warwick, I have a Takuma BX 7'10" that I use for windfoiling. It is a SUP that has quad fins and has tracks for a foil and a windsurf mast track. There is foot strap inserts but I prefer not to use them. It seems quite durable and I windfoil it with a slingshot surf foil. The infinity 84 or H10 foil. It has 138 litres and is 30 inches wide. I really like the board. I have flat water paddled it but not surfed it yet. It seems quite durable but not real light.

Again thanks to all for input and PMs with excellent feedback.
Today I surfed (not foil) the Naish 120 Crossover in very small surf on shallow sandbanks.
All good and feel I'll go ok on it with a foil.
I have it for a few days before deciding so hope to utilise it with my XL Naish foil.
