Thumbs Up

Ski supplied by mate who is upgrading his ski. Blue Planet provided the foil strongbox! Dale Chapman from Currumbin put them together with a bit of wave ski advice fro Reece Duncan. As you can see from the vid , the angles and positioning were spot on - my first go so I took a while to work it out - now need practise.

Thumbs Up

My arm nearly fell off this morning from holding on to the ski rope - Marcus said that next time I will get up to speed and let go of the rope and paddle in the wake to foilsurf it! from these photos though, I have my doubts - He did say we were going about 13 or 14 kms an hour at times. That could be two weekends away as life is hectic'

Have the opportunity to try out in the surf on Wed - high tide abt 10 am. Small swell, looks ideal - how fast do you need to go in the surf? It seems that foils will catch extremely small swells. I have a " go foil 200 and 750 mast " and so will give it a go before I get back to the river.
Thanks for any advice Steve
