Good footage David. It was good to be able to get our local exercise in and socially distance out in the water. For cold, locked-down Melbourne we even had some sunshine!

Way off topic I know but what waist leash is that you are using? I tried my first go on a wing yesterday and a 9 foot surf leash was a real pain!

My waist leash is the Balin brand (a local manufacturer) and I especially like the buckle system that it has rather than the common Velcro type.

Using a normal ankle or knee leash is very annoying because you might have it on the back leg going one way (going out) but going the other way (coming in) it ends up on your front leg and it gets in the way.

That's why windsurfers can't wear a leg leash.. You could get away with it if you never changed your feet and rode toe-side the other way.

Thank you.

Sadly i don't think the Balin waist option is available in the UK

Use a dive belt and connect to that.

I have the Luna Surf SUP belt, works very well with their 10ft coiled SUP leash and it is UK made.
