This could be interesting if it works. One of the videos shows attaching the mount and the leash. You'd want a leash.

Looks like a board delaminater to me. reducing the foil contact surface area of your external mounted board even more than a foil mount but applying the same pressures. It may be a good try once or twice option to check if you want to convert your board, but I would expect long time use will result in either delam is the suctions work well, or loss of foil if they don't.
Those interested let me know.
i am in process of getting an order together.
they are a month or two off but getting a order in early will help him plan his production.
The system has proven in last year to work and gives enough holding force to foil but low enough to be a fail safe when hitting bottom.
It is used with a leash and provides enough buoyancy to float your foil anyway.
and it can be replaced in water if needed.
while our traditional mounting methods are best, the Remora opens up a whole new aspect of trying different boards and mounting positions.
It has been tested on large surfboards and SUPs

Cool idea. I have several boards I'd love to try foiling, but don't want to spend the $400 to get tracks installed or destroy them with DIY through hulls. This would be quite versatile, potentially great for travelling too, bring foil, get a board when you get there. Only problem is price....I think it was 250 pounds, roughly $500....which is more than my foil cost. I know that's considered "cheap" in this crazy foil universe, where people are paying thousands ... but that seems too much $ for me for a mounting system.
Paul has said he uses it on his SUP with a Takuma SUP foil but uses the Quattro version ( 4 cups)
I see it as a product that opens up foiling into some other ideas.
Adding some flexibility but with some compromises.
Some will find it of value others not.
