Interesting strap positioning. I imagine a lot of the wild ride you are encountering is somewhat due to your off centre weighting. I am a big advocate of having your feet down the centre line of the board, however you will notice there a quite a few crew that will have their front foot off on what I call diamond stance (off to one side) which is similar to what it seems you have here. But importantly most of the time you'll also notice they also offset their back foot too to the otherside of the board. If you are in the straps here, then it seems you would have both feet on one side of the board (or at best back foot centre and front foot offset). Try using a more centred position for your front foot. even having it straight and expanding the base by a hole will feel better IMO.

Have I read that right....winging in 8-11km/h? That's nothing!? Or is that just the travelling/crash speed. Sorry...never used a tracking device....

Thanks JB. I'm actually finding that position quite comfortable... I'll post up a vid where I'm foiling, feet in and steady as. Trick is when I'm on the other tack as the hole positioning makes it hard to have another strap on the same angle at the same foot on the other side. Either way having a ball with this

Love the 873... plenty of lift and really steady. I've also got the 633 which I'll try soon now that I'm getting more confident on the foil...despite these pics?? But haven't ridden any other brands to compare

Seems I'm getting on the foil at around 10kmh... and riding around 15 to 18kmh on average. I am backing off though when I pickup too much speed as still learning as far as foiling goes. Will try with the Moses 633 instead of the 873 and see if there's a speed difference
