bought the big bic yesterday for the wife to use in flat water and today took it out for a couple of surfs in nice waves up to head high,. Was expecting it to be pretty average to poor in the surf but was pleasantly surprised , it felt really good on the waves and turned well a lot of fun and i will be looking forward to surfing it regularly when it is small or choppy. Board is nice and light, strong and very stable due to its size, didn,t get on the nose as i had not waxed the front yet but it feels like it will nose ride too, My opinion are these are a good value , well made and shaped board as an all around cruiser and I am stoked to have got it. Can,t compare it to a Naish Nalu etc as i Have not tried one but it felt a lot better than i was expecting. I am 6 ft 1 85 kg 55 yrs and been surfing 45 years
When my son was younger, bought him a Bic 9' mal, for the small days.
When there was any size, I would borrow it to ride. Very fast and loose, with lots of drive. Had a look at them when I started sup, reckon their underated.
