We have a Mana 10' and a Alana 9'5". I prefer the Alana but am worried that my 85kg are too heavy for the deck. Being marketed at women does anyone know whether the deck construction is lighter .

Hi neptuno
the Alana is a GS construction ..so no problem ...tuff...the Alana has better deck pads than the 'mana GS ..
9.5 GS mana = 9.5 Alana .

All Naish decks are crap.My Prowave never had a problem but my Hokua is just like all Naish boards , depressions where my feet stand after 6-9 mths.

I rode my Alana all winter last year, in everything..... 100 kg + then add full wettie
no problem, cuz I kept my feet from touching the deck

I never had any issues with the Naish decks.... 3 Mana's, 1 Alana
