Hi all,
Hope some one can point me in the right direction.
I'm looking for a 14ft board to use mainly in Port Phillip Bay. Flat water and downwinders, ranging from 5-30kms.
What are the thoughts on the Naish Maliko Pro Sandwich Carbon Stringer boards? It says the board is for advanced paddlers, I wouldn't say I'm advanced but I've surfed SUPs for several years and also paddled ocean skis so I'd class myself as intermediate. What makes the board advanced?
I'm 6'2" and 95kgs so I was looking at the 28" model.
Anyone got any thoughts?
Cheers.
Perfect.. I'm about your height and weight and that board would be my first choice.
I have an older model of the same board that I love and you can't go wrong with the Naish Maliko.
Where do you mostly paddle on the bay?
Thanks for the feedback.
I'm in Frankston so anywhere between Mordy and Mt Martha is the plan.
A cross bay paddle is also on the cards.
I'm in Parkdale (Mordy) so if you want to try a 14x 28 Maliko to check it out before buying one you are welcome to paddle mine.. It won't be exactly like the new model but it will be very similar.
Thanks for the offer.
With the current lockdown it would be an expensive paddle if I got caught.
Cheers
