Scotty just delivered an
awesome custom SMIK Hipster Twin to me. 8'4" x 30.75" x 122 liters.
.
Scotty - the man in a suitcase - flew from Perth to Thailand to Kiev to Queens NY.

He was in customs for ever. A shifty looking Ozzie bloke with a massive pile of SUPS from Kiev. Hahaha.

We loaded the whole pile into my truck drove to his rental truck loaded him up so he could drive to Long Island to deliver some to his mate.

I only got to keep one. Surfed today in crap, felt great, can't wait to get her into some juice.

Scotty now driving to FL. He may get lost in a swamp.

Red Ram rental truck. Chick magnet.

Here are some snappies.

Beautiful board! Great shape and will be a ripper I am sure. How have you finned it?

Cheers

Much to Scotty's surprise I am using HIS fins.

Big twins with small trailer up in the box.

Chances of me not messing around - zero!

Unrecovered finaholic. Rob Machado likes these. Will report when I have ridden in decent waves.

Back swell in Maine. Ugly pics.
OH waves. Fun! One of these days I will figure out how to eliminate the freakin' doubles!
My bad fellas..

The 8'4" was awesome. Made some bombs and did some swimming!

The 8'4" HipTwin rocks in small waves, and in the bigger stuff.

Am using the fins in my last pic, and they work really well.

She turns so hard off the bottom, and then accelerates
really fast. Kinda like Twinnies in the olden times!

And you can draw the old high line if you have a mind to.

Scotty clearly is on to something with this design.

Big sister, the 9'2", is getting jealous though. Redheads...
