Sorry, the video in the original post isn't working and posts can't be edited so I've had to redo it. Hopefully this one is good!
Hey MickMc,
I couldn't agree with you more. I'm just returning from four weeks on the Sunshine Coast and the Poato Chip excelled in all types of conditions. I wasn't expecting the glide, speed and stability from a board that is only 123 litres. Very, very happy with this board.
I think Mick is a fair bit lighter than me and I'm about 90 kegs.
Yep, I'm around 76 kg
The 9'4" x 33" @ 140 litres Fun Stick is really stable and has all the same attributes except more suited to FOBs like me that have had hip replacements and Laminectomies. As the boys have alluded to with the Potato chip, it seems to be the fineness of the rails. Extremely stable but because they haven't got a huge litreage they are not overly corky like my 9'2" x 31.5 Allwave sometimes felt at 160 odd litres. I'm not sure, but I think there is a couple of lengths of the Potato Chip. I also tend to wax the nose because they seem to nose ride quite well. Having the option to run them as quads or Thrusters is also handy. Nice work Mick and I've seen Antho having lots of fun on his PC. I've had boards of virtually every type of material HRS, carbon, etc and these seem to be resilient and not too heavy. I didn't like the fins they came with so hold on to any favourites.
I just thought I'd add this about Gore Tex Vents. Really helpful info.
Hi Guys, we will be doing two DEMO DAYs down in the Melbourne Area this weekend.
Saturday in the Torquay area with Stonker and Sunday on the Sorrento Foreshore with Jacks Boards
MickMc at Torquay Point (otherwise known as Rocky Point) yesterday, on the Blue Planet Potato Chip. One of the nicest days of surf this summer.
Great waves on Monday Muzza. Bigger sets were double overhead and walling up beautifully. Who took that photo? Didn't see you out there.

I think it was Mark who took the pics. I went to Possos. Haystacks and the Point looked better though. Mark just tucks a regular sort of waterproof camera, in the top of his wetty and then tries to take pics as he is paddling back out. He gets one or two good ones and a lot not so good!
Hello Mick - I have the 8'8" by 32" all good 128litres - been out 4 times now and is great for my 90k. glides reasonably, paddles onto waves easily and accelerates out of turns really well, giving me more options down the line - have a look on the website, -- before this board I had a sunova speed which was 8'8" but only 28.5" wide - even though this board was a slightly better SURF board my arthritic knees could not handle the width. Looks like 32" is the go for me - compromise between surfability and physical constraints.
Steve
Any more demos planned,
like the look of this,
8.8x32&123 litres is a Starboard 8.8x31.5 Airborne beater for me.. would love to try one...
Any chance of demoing one at this weekend SUP Vic Surf Comp?

Stumpi, sorry, I wish Seabreeze had a notification system. We have a demo Potato Chip in the shop which you can try anytime. We also have a used one for sale which some FOB found a bit small for his hulking frame. It's in virtually perfect condition. For those interested we now also have a demo Funstick, and a Ninja Chief. All great boards. We sold one Ninja Chief to a very well known SUPer in Torquay who swears it's the best board he has ever ridden. I tried it - bit unstable for my rudimentary skills, but he loves it.
