Just got back from a travelling through South West China. Saw some amazing sup skill while cruising down the Li River in Yang Shuo. These guys selling fruit paddle straight at the ferry in a seeming head on suicide mission, spin off to the side at the last second, grab the boat rail and hook on so they can sell their wares to the passengers.

So I'm thinking the Chinese have a longer history of making sups than we previously thought. Love to try out one of these babies in the surf!
