Hi guys, looking for some advice on an upgrade from our Aldi inflatable for me and my wife. We are both 35 year's old I'm 175cm and 70kg and keen to start surfing, my wife is about 170 cm and 60kg and just wants to stay on the flat water. We can both use the inflatable pretty well ( it's only about 25" wide so our balance is not to bad) but not experts by any means. Any recommendations on something that will suit us both.
Ideally I'd like to keep it under $1500 and as short as possible as it'll be transported on a trailer behind my bike.
Thanks.

Would be a sweet little all round board for lighter weight people like yourselves... Might have a steep learning curve first... So paddle on flat water to get used to it, then small waves... then progress from there.
Otherwise the surfboard warehouse have heaps of boards that would suit you... all at the cheaper end...
Good luck
Awesome thanks mate, yeah small waves is all we have here so that will be fine.
I seen the evoke at surfboard ware house thought looked sutable or a local shop has Natural rythem kaponi. Are these all ok? Any standout as better
I don't know the Kaponi, I have owned a Evoke before... quality was fine... but 32" wide is very wide for 60-70kg IMO. If I was in your shoes and wanted a Surfboard warehouse board, i'd buy a Mistress 10' x 28"...
A 'longboard' type shape is a much better allrounder than a pointy nose board IMO. More stable and better glide...
The One boards, AFAIK are made at the Kinetic factory along with Jimmy Lewis and Infinity - one of the best factories in the world.
Thanks for the help, glad I asked as I was thinking a shorter, wider board was the way to go, not sure why. I was only looking at surfboard Warehouse because there main one that comes up when Google searching and I have no idea on the different brands available.
Definitely want to go with a hard body this time. Will the 9' still be stable enough for the missus to cruise around on. If so it sounds about perfect for us and easy to take on the bike
