I know some people have seen this video as I posted it about 6 months ago so don't be a hater it's just for those who haven't seen it & it's a good video to end the series on Jimmy Lewis board construction....
Jimmy Lewis talks about different kinds of construction used in the stand up paddle industry and demonstrates the strengths of each type of construction. He explains what true sandwich construction consists of and how it is made. Weighted strength tests show why Jimmy Lewis Boards are the best boards made & to be honest you don't even need to spend the extra money or Carbon fibre especially when it comes to surf sup's....Jimmy's NON-Carbon surf sup's come in lighter than most brands Carbon boards...
Enjoy

Hi, I recently started investigating Jimmy's factory production boards after feeling the weight at my local store, ESS(thanx Mark) and then watched the other vids on Jimmy doing the "poor man's vacuum". How does Jimmy rate the 2 different methods, that is his high density PVC sandwich, and his "standard" glass job, for weight? and rigidity? I assume the factory job doesn't have a stringer either?

Hi Soapy,
No the factory boards don't have a stringer & I'll ask Jimmy the question for you & let you know..
