Thumbs Up

As a happy owner of a 2021 Carolina 14x25 I'm considering an another all-around race board to replace my wife's flatwater board (Fanatic Strike Carbon 14x25). We paddle flatwater and also some downwinds where my wife would benefit from having an easier board. No racing, just more or less sporty paddling. That's why I've played with the idea of giving my Carolina 14x25 to my wife and getting a Sonic for myself.

How is the Sonic stability compared to Carolina?

In the action pictures on NSP site the Sonic looks to have quite a long waterline, not that much shorter than what the Carolina has. They also share the same tail shape now. So what to expect on flatwater, is there a reason it would be much slower than the Carolina?

The other option could be getting an another Carolina (14x23,5) but having 2 Carolinas in the family sounds like a boring option.

Also, any news on the 2022 model? Are there going to be design updates that make the choice different?
