Just bought an 11ft Naish Nalu GTW and the fin has a small manufacturer defect in the base of the fin seen in the photo and also one resin bubble under the glass near the top leading edge about 3mm diameter.
I want to know is this normal and If so what sort of warranty is covered on a fin with this sort of defect considering the board has not even been in the water yet and the shop that you bought it from is not being helpful.

It's not normal but unfortunately it's a typical quality control problem with the Cobra factory that effects many brands.. I'm sure that Naish will be more than happy to swap it over for you.

Hey SUPYort,

Sorry to see your new baby has a less than acceptable fin issue. I will contact you privately for more info, but rest assured all Naish products are 100% backed up for Manufacturers defaults with workmanship and materials. To ensure you do not miss any water time, please feel free to use your board and fin and I will arrange a replacement for you to swap over.

Enjoy your board, and ride safe,

JB
