Introducing the New 8'5 Fusion from JP Australia. At 131 liters this board has enough float for that bigger guy looking for a sub 9' board. This board competes with the Naish 8'5 Mana and the Starboard Pocket Rocket ( updated model due Sept), a very popular segment of the market. The first thing you notice when you see the board in the flesh is the ample rocker and smooth, well proportioned lines. Available in Pro Edition and new Wood Sandwich construction. Check them out.
Cheers
Here is a photo showing the nice rocker of the board. The very top is the new 2015 8'6 Surf ( with increased rocker). The two boards below are the 8'5 Fusion.
Hmm, comparison to a 88 surf wide body? Got one of them for 18 months now and love it. But, this could change the paradigm?
Wow that is nice , another great surprise I have'nt even seen it yet......I'll get together with John at SurfFx and do a comparison between the J-P 8-5 Fusion & the Naish 8-5 Mana & the J-P 8-8 wide..
What are the new naish's in the photo??
That's some of the new GT range but if you go to the Surf FX facebook and you will see the review I filmed with John & Chuck Patterson on the LE range.
Actually Rob they are the new GT's. The top ones are the X32's then the new Alana's then the new 11' Nalu Gt. These boards will be released on the 4th August so you will see the full details then.
Cheers
Michael
Nice looking boards. I believe the 8'5 will also come in the AST construction, will you be stocking them Michael? Any pics?

Great, I am interested to know.
I have fusion 9.8 now and looking for smaller, on my shortlist fusion 8.5, surf 8.10 or surf 9.2 all considered in light pro-edition.
Looking for lighter, shorter turns than 9.8 and similar speed.
Tried the Nice widesurf 8.8, Read some reviews on the surfs yet and now looking for experience with f8.5
